I have 1 Goliath and some black model too. I prefer nice veneers to burnt ash black, but it is in a corner, out of sight.

I also have a JBL UltraBass 212 , but like many other powered subs, it's amp has gone motorboating at least twice. Powered subs seem to eat plate amps ...read of users replacing with amps from Dayton.

I do too, and that M&K I have is ash black like yours and is also in a corner for that reason.

    Motorboating.. hahaha

I did see something about people using Dayton amps, I think another member said something about them. Thanks for the reminder, I will look into them. The one E250P I have has an amp which made poopy in it's trousers, but I had a spare so I swapped it out. Now the other one which has been in service just as long is starting to wig out..

    Motor-boating.. hahaha
    .
the OL keeps pushing me to get rid of stuff not being used ...

Motor-boating .... a well used term for when your powered sub's amp goes
TU and even when off ... makes the sub sound like a motorboat idling in the water.

Well this could mean good things for me!
Whenever you do decide to get rid of it, please keep me in mind.

Oh, I've never heard of that. Figured you mean it just up and left. You fellas make me feel like a novice with all your lingo and tech knowledge. I'm trying not to slow the bus down too much.
