    JBL 308p Mk2

Just grabbed a pair to replace my 4208's and Urei 6211 amps in my office at work. Couldn't resist a pair for $298. Can't wait to see how they sound! Anyone have a pair?

Love my LSR305's...not sure what has changed in the Mark II ? They make perfect office speakers.

My LSR305 never had the dynamic of my 4406. Played FPS with both, with the 4406 the guns firing (mine) and explosions were great, enough to worry the neighbours, not the case with the LSR305. Maybe it's down to the fact the amp choice is yours with the 4406 and they were CCed . I regret the 4406, not the LSR305.
Let us know how you power your 4208.

Well I must say I am impressed! They are newly up and still integrating the subwoofer but the imaging and detail are really nice. Very consistent with distance. Have the HF trim at -2 as I am in close. I have read issues about noise but I don't have any issue at all very quiet as good as my previous set-up. I have them running from an I-pod to and M552 and then crossed at 60Hz. The sub in driven from the low summed output on the M552. Have to play with them a couple of days but right out of the box nice!

I can imagine. The original 305 is no slouch either.

I’m considering the 708p speakers for my next small HT.

Now that could make a nice set-up! So have you heard them?
