    Are these genuine Beryllium membranes?

A guy wants to sell me his JBL 2435HPL but cannot confirm they have the Be membranes (he bought them on eBay a decade ago and haven't been used since). I am no expert myself either so I would appreciate if someone could confirm whether these look like the real deal or not. This is what they look like:

Provided these are Be, what are they worth? I see the newer Aquaplassed 435Be going for between $700-1000 a pair ever so often.

They sure look right. They are a dull dark grey, not trusting the picture? The aluminum ones 2431 are a bright silver color. Worth? Check eBay

Figure on replacing the ferro-fluid/oil in the gap (if not done by previous buyer or unknown). Looks like the stock Be dia.

Thanks guys, that’s reassuring. Is it difficult to top up the ferro fluid and is it standard ferro oil?

You'll need some nice H9800 horns and ME150HS drivers to go with them so give me a pm.

Use the correct fluid=APG S38N from Ferrotec
