Having roots in the Balkans, Turkish culture has always intrigued me. Altin Gün is from Amsterdam and was started by one of the band members who was gigging in Turkey and stumbled upon some 1960's and 70's Turkish Psych Rock records. The band is a mix of Turkish, Dutch and Balkan artists. They play mostly covers but the arrangemnets are all their own.
