    Thanks guys!

I has been two months working late nights to get these speakers from worn out and used up touring-PA, to what they lookes like today. Thankfully, all the speakers are ok, they even came with replaced drivers for mids and buttcheaks. Some of the basses are also reconed.

The plan is to get them finished in a couple of weeks, and then to test them with a Crown DCI 4 channel amp, before delivering them to the owner. Looking forward to hear them play!
I will post new pictures here when they are ready to play!

    Hi,

may I ask what the use of the bass drivers' rebates is? Don't they affect the baffles', which supposedly are made of chipboard, mechanical ruggedness?

    Btw, I concur - great work !

    Best regards!

Finished JBL 4771 and 4778 rebuild!

Here are some pics from the final results. It has been a lot of work, but the came out really great! I've tested the the speakers too, they sound just awesome! Great punchy bass and very nice mids and high. I'm probably going to get another set like this to keep for myself if I can find one...
