    TAD 4001 diaphragm installation

Somebody claims TAD 4001 diaphragm installation needs precise alignment/tooling.
Is it true for original/aftermarket diaphragm?
    Can I install 375/2440 diaphragm on 4001?

    T A D - D I Y

    D,

The following diaphragms are field replaceable:
TAD DP-4001 Beryllium Diaphragm @ $975 is used in the TD-4001 and TD-4002 Drivers. The Radian 1292-8 is an Aluminum alternative @ $299.
At these prices, do you want to take any risks associated with a DIY effort?
