Altec Model 17

Hello

I bought a pair Altec Model 17 with the 604G in it because I had a unbalance in the sound between left and right I checked the resistance from both units.
High unit 7,3 ohm -low 7.8ohm
the other High unit 7.3 ohm- low 4.2 ohm
Looks if the felt around the horn from the later one is not original.
Any advice what to do ?

The speaker with low resistance may have been reconed with incorrect materials.
