Hi Iskesha,
I had a quick look around and here is what I found on LH forum:

Nope, see line 6 for E140 here:
http://www.jblpro.com/pub/manuals/enclgde.pdf
You'll not get extended LE15 bass outta D140. It's a musical instrument bass driver.
"R" means they were OEM'd to Rogers (organs,) I believe.

Welcome aboard....
Thank you for your helping,
I saw the line 6 in your document, but I wonder that this Cabinet is too small, it’s only 4 cubic feet. Normally I think the Cabinet for JBL 15” driver is about 5-8 cubic feet. Can I use the 8 cubic feet for D140R?
I also saw in internet that technical data of d140, is it right?
Vas 10.5ft3
Qms 5.0
Qes 0.22
Qts 0.21
Fs 30Hz
Sens 98dB/W/M

Hi Tomas
- I don't know what the "R" is supposed to indicate but here's a bit of trivia ;
- Gap Width is .057" , just like the D130 , K130, K140, and the "E" series - as well as a whole slew of popular woofers like the 2225h(j) and the 2235h(j).
- The DCR ( DC resistance ) of a healthy voice-coil is given as 5.1 to 5.9 ohms. This specific DCR "range" is a shared trait with the D140F, the 2216 ( le15b ), 2205a, and the 2202a . These all have 4" wide voice-coils.
- The stock dustcap for this model is a "Thick Paper" type.
- FWIW, my Service Manual info says the D140R is most similar to the 2205A .
( with those references ; the "F" and "R" could just as easily mean : "Full-Range" & "Restricted-Range" - as determined by the type of "dust-cap" )
- Here are a few eBay pics for reference ;

JBL D140R Specs
Somewhere on line (don't remember where) I found these TS parameters for the JBL D140R 15" driver used in Rodgers organ tone cabinets. Can anyone confirm that they are correct?
VAS=10.5 ft^3
Qms=5.0
Qes=0.22
Fs=30 Hz"
The first post from Zilch tels you what kind of bass you can expect from D140R and what the "R" means. The partial T/S parameters in the second and fourth posts are basically the same as those of the JBL 2205A. But I think your best bet is the third post from Earl:
From Earl's post you get a driver DC resistance range, but most interesting is the "my Service Manual info says the D140R is most similar to the 2205A". I think this is the key for your search in absence of a direct JBL statement of D140R parameters, i.e. using those of the 2205A is about as close as you may get.
So 2205A T/S from JBL's table are: Fs 30 hz; Qts 0.21; Qms 5; Qes 0.22; Vas 297.3 litres; Eff 3.5%; Pe 150W (I'm not sure the D140R would handle this amount of power, prudence); Xmax 2.54 mm; Re 5.5 ohms (right in the middle of Earl's range); Le 1.3 mH; Sd 0.090 sq m; BL 22.3; Mms 105 gr.; Flux 1.2
Good luck, Regards,
Richard
