    S4600 vs S3900

    Hey guys,

I haven't been on here in a long time but my interest in JBL is being renewed because Im tired of thinking Im hearing bass from my very expensive high end speakers with 2 8" woofers and not really or feeling hearing much bass at all.

These two models appear to have the same MF and HF drivers with horn loading with the difference being the LF drivers (2x100FE-8 on the S3900, 1x LE14H-4 on the S4600).

Assuming they could be purchased at the same price, which speaker would be preferable for a 13x22x8 listening room with a 300wpc amp that doubles power until 2 ohms at which its 1200 WPC. I also have a very good digital Eq I can apply if there is headroom to tune the bass to the room.

Thanks for your collective help and guidance.

Sadly ( for you ) there's just no way to predict which of those two will work best in your personal listening space.

You'll need to hear each one ( there ) to make up your mind.
