Government Issue?
I've never seen that model ("GI") of L100T before, ever. The lineup was L20T/L60T/L80T/L100T, with the L100S being the military PX version. None had adjustment knobs on the back (nor, any adjustment knobs at all)
I'd love to see more photos of the drivers, grills, front of cabinets etc. As you appear to live overseas, anything is possible, because JBL made/makes many things not sold in North America.
Interesting thread, and looking forward to seeing more photos.
They def look like the correct cabinets for the L100T...bar of course the controls which look to have been added on by someone. The T series are a great speaker...i use a pair of L100T in the same finish as part of my bedroom hifi setup. Have had them since the late 80s and love them to bits. Some shots of the front minus grilles would be great.
Currently own and use JBL 250Ti,250Ti Classic,18Ti,L100T and L20T

The adjustments on backside must have been done by a former owner i think. Will take out 2214 and look at crossower maybe disconect adjustments what do you think?
Sounds like a good idea, do some recon, find out what was changed, either keep it if you prefer or revert back to original.
