    4408a placement observations

    What is/are the recommended placement(s) for 4408a's?

Vertical rather than horizontal? Seems as though a horizontal orientation would obviate the separation inherent in the tweeters being located on the 'outside' of the speaker. Perhaps that can be restored by separating the speakers but then would that degrade the imaging of the woofers?

What is the optimum separation if oriented vertically?

    Thanks!!!

They are designed and intended for near-field monitor usage, vertically oriented.
Ideal spacing is pretty much the same as any speaker, with the speakers forming an equilateral triangle with the listener.
