    Sand/media Blasting 511 and 811 Horns

    Anybody do it? Is it okay to do so?

    If you do I would take precautions as the paint may contain lead depending on their age.

    We have several abrasive blast cabinets at work and one uses soda for media, like slightly large grain baking soda and it is phenomenal for removing paint and such from delicate items.

    You can buy the media easily, it will pull through any siphon blaster and leaves only water soluble dust and whatever it removed.
