As many 70s and 80s vintage speakers i have had the pleasure to enjoy, the one thing I love about them is the internal hookup wire.
What was it, it it available or is there a modern day equivalent.
Thanks in advance.

I am not assigning any powers. I just thought the stiffness and the fact that it didn't "fray" was good. It's just right to work with, so the question(s) remain -
Didn't fray because the ends were 'tinned'.
Commonly sold as 'stranded hookup wire'. Bigger strands make for less floppy wire.
Any multi strand copper wire of suitable gage will work just fine. I use tefzel tin plated copper wire as an example. Got it from work when they changed over to silver plated wire.
