    L100A drivers

I have a pair of empty L100A cabs that are in very good condition. I have close S/N 123A-1 woofers. I also have close S/N LE5-2s. I am stuck on the LE25. I have a pair of LE25-1 but only 1 foam circle. I also have a pair of LE25-4 with the raised circle of aluminum and the black dense foam.

Would it be heresy to use the LE25-4? Any problem with the electrical properties vs the LE25-1?

Got the fire starter right here and the stake in the ground!! No it's an evolved version so from a time perspective it may not be right but it should work fine as long as it fits in those rather odd cut outs for the tweeters.

Well, put your fire starter away and pull the stake. I just bought a pair of JBL foam rings off eBay. Now I have the option to use either pair.

While I do peruse the Audiogon message boards and marvel at $800 AC power cords, $500 mats to put on top of my CD player and last but not least $80,000 power conditioners I am what one would call a lead ear.

I would not be able hear a difference between the -1 and -4.

Although the 077 does impress me.

It never fails. Just found a box in the garage with 6 of the grey foam rings and 6 of the black dense foam rings. Could have saved $8.
