I researched the well-worn topic of connecting wires from amplifier to speakers, on LH of course. The consensus is that any good quality wire works, and that there is allot of incorrect/bogus opinions, marketing, and product out there.
Back in high school, 50 yrs ago, we would use spools of 14-2 lamp cord from the local hardware store. Never let me or my buddies down.
One of my favorite wire threads on LH documents the use of magnet wire, the logic being there are all sorts of restrictions inside amplifiers and crossover, and that the signal ultimately ends up going through the thin wire of the voice coil. OK...
I did a little looking for a sensible discussion of V=IR, in order to determine if its voltage or amps that are important in driving a speaker. Nothing straight forward from which to draw a wire recommendation.
My connectors support 12 gauge so I found a 6 wire bundle (very similar to an automotive trailer wire bundle) of 'pro grade' stuff used for sound reinforcement and ordered a 60' chunk.
I'll test the cables with the battery test. Next step is to get smart on the DBX360.
