Which 10" drivers are used in JBL Synthesis S4S?

As the title says I am interested in knowing what drivers are used.

    SRS Tech Sheet

Perhaps a Synthesis dealer can order them as parts for you

EDIT: Here's a pair of those for sale woofers on Kijijji in Montreal.

    S4S

I purchased two of these sub transducers, but missed the backbox, which is about 75liters, and appears to be sealed. 88dB and -6@20Hz, high quality, but completely system engineered. Could I use these singly in a small room(not in wall), vented?

The info given here; SRS JBL Synthesis suggests the "BackingBox" is only about 46 Litres ( 1.63cu' ).

    Info sheets say its 5.1" deep x 14" wide x 64" high.

Since the S4S is meant to be shoe-horned between a homes existing wall-studs ( with a bit of foamed isolation to prevent wall-rattles ) > those dimensions make some sense to me ( excepting the depth, which is assuming walls built out of 2x6's > which isn't really standard for inside walls ) .

Anyways, in the absence of TS parameters for these woofers your best off to place them in sealed boxes of appropriate size ( iow, the box size that JBL has used ).

Alternately, obtain the TS parameters by measuring a woofer with a DATS System ( or equivalent ) and then figure out the best box/driver alignment ( using something like WinISD Pro ).
