Hello, this is my Urei 6500 power amplifier for my collection.
I bought it some weeks ago from a recording audio studio in Rome.
I have check it when is arrived but the second channel didn't work good, the problem was the stand by mode always on when I power on.
I taken it to a technical assistance laboratory and now it is in working order and sounds very very good. It's a wonderful power amplifier from '80.
Many thanks for your attention and comments.
    Giovanni

That's a gorgeous big brute of an amplifier!

Hoisting 38kg in and out of a rack must not have been fun when you brought it in for repair.

What speakers are you powering with it?

Dead thread, but came to say I now understand what that BNC connector labeled "Conductor Compensation" is for. My UREI 813C's also have the same connector..
