    My favorite records store

Tell about your favorite records store!
Should we visit your town only because of this particular records store?

Probably because the store is enormous and has an incredible selection. Well, that's why I like going there.

Portland vinyl lovers, breathe a big sigh of relief: The city's best used record store has found a new home.

CROSSROADS RECORDS is a unique music store located at 8112 SE Foster Rd., Portland, Oregon 97206 - (503) 232-1767. Our store consists of over 50 music dealers who each maintain their own inventory in our store on a consignment basis. Consequently, we have the largest selection of hard to find records, posters and CDs in Oregon, and reasonable prices, too!

Absolutely! They used to have incredible deals on used records, but now the prices are reasonable but not crazy cheap like they were before the recent vinyl craze started.

My favorite records stores were 25 / 30 years ago. Nowadays, it is mostly thrift shops, yard sales and flea markets for some full fledge crate digging. I can't stand going to a hipster used records shop. Not for me.

    Grabbelkisten

My favorite record stores are those with the spare parts boxes. There is always a little or bigger curiosity to find there. In Germany the magical word for every vinyl afficionado is: Grabbelkisten!
