    Amp for Altec M500's ?

Starting Over. Only purchase so far are the above speakers.
They are rated for a lot of power but I listen at 70db level mostly.
Room not so big at 12 x 18 x 8. Like all kinds of music. Thoughts
    and suggestions? Thanks.

Your choices are wide open, especially if (like me) you don't listen at loud levels. Might help if you told us a little about your preferences.

    - Tube or solid state?
    - Modern or vintage?
    - How much do you want to spend?
    - Might you add a subwoofer later on?
    - Do you listen to radio?
    - Which sources do you intend to use? (tape, phono, tuner, cd, digital, etc.)

I have heard the Jolida JD-1000BRC amp partner extremely well with the Altec M500.
