Driver Adapter for Mantaray Horn

I tried putting a JBL 2470 driver on a newly acquired Mantaray MR64 horn. The 3 bolt pattern is not the same and was wondering what adapter I would need to use this driver.

It's tough ( to impossible ) to find the exact adapter needed.

What you need is a 1" entry ( using the JBL 3-hole pattern ) to 1.4" exit ( Altec pattern ). I don't think anyone ever made that one.

The closest you'll likely come ( to the above ) is by buying an aftermarket 1" entry to 1.5" exit ( adapter ).

That, is available from a couple of online outfits ( mostly eBay types ) like as this one!

- I think you'll need to drill/hog out the 3 holes on the JBL side ( plus adding 3 new ones to the Altec side of the adapter ).
