Some kind of happiness is measured out in miles
So many of my music heros going toes up in the past year or two has been a bummer for me. I remember when John Bonham died in 1980 and that was bad enough, then a scant three months later that lunatic shot Lennon, but lately the deaths have been coming thick and fast.
I met Paul Kantner some years ago after a gig in Schenectady, NY. Decent guy and of course one of the originals. Sad to see these people have left us.
The last line of the article is fitting, ironic and humorous, all at the same time:
