Couple questions about cleaning up my L200Bs

Well, shortly after my L200Bs followed me home, I picked up my L250s, so all of a sudden I ran out of any urgency to get the L200Bs going again. I'm finally doing it - basically just cleaning everything and refoaming the 136As - and have two questions.

1 - What's the best way to clean the surface of my 136A cones? They are extremely dusty and I'm afraid of using the wrong method and damaging or discoloring the cones.

2 - One of my ports has a little bit of damage to the cardboard. Is there a best practice for fixing this?

And here's a shot of them just because.

    Thanks in advance,
    Ryan

Gently... I’d follow up with a soft towel that is slightly damp.

re port, I’d just use white glue, sand lightly if needed, and touch up the paint ... also if needed. All just to keep it from lifting further.

They look beautiful Johnny. Be careful with the sun. I've seen the Patina change on a cabinet when the sun its it every day and no where else on the cabinet. Two tone. That being said you have some nice gear. Can I ask what your address is and when your are usually not home?

Update, after listening to them for a while, I'm shocked at how good they are. I thought I would run quickly back to my L250s, but that hasn't happened. The LE85 is really, really nice. The 136A is really clean sounding, but can also dig deep and deliver a punch.
