lol, or epoxy and some solder. (mass rings)
If the voicecoil gets to 600F there will be worse issues to deal with.

...but the foil says 2235, I'm still laughing. It isn't a 2235, mass ring or not.
Hi
Why not use old mas ring (35gr) or make it from aluminum, cooper, solder-wire.....

How long should I wait until I crank this thing up?
Let spider glue cure for a day.
Let foam glue cure for a day.
Let mass ring glue cure for a day.
Let dome glue cure for a day.
So spider glue has now set for 4-5 days.
Found an OC Speaker label on it but no date. I put my own label with date and non-oem disclosure on it.
had L25,L36,L40,L120,L300,AquariusIV(2),S1,4408 have L65,L100,L222,DorianS12,B380
I small signal test before I even solder the tinsels and put them to use the next day.
Barry.
If we knew what the hell we were doing, we wouldn't call it research would we.
Can anyone suggest where to obtain the 2235 mass rings?
I'm getting a pair of 2225s reconed as 2235s, but my recone guy tells me that the cone kits do not include the mass ring.
He also suggested he could fashion a 35 gram equivalent from copper wire and install that, but I'm not sure that's the way to go.
Any tips appreciated!
