Hi Guys, I came across this website, I’m actually thinking of building a 2397 clone, but this looks really cool, Kent

    Westlake horns

I know their are two different versions around, one has an internal height of aprox. 1,44" and the other should have 2".

I have build the smaller one which is very close to the JBL 2397. But Iīm interested in the bigger one.
Are there any construction plans of these westlakes with 2" inner height?
Or are these the exact same dimensions as the smaller one except for the height ?

How do they actual differ in sound?
Westlake only uses the bigger one to about 4,5khz, is itīs frequency extension to the highs worse than the smaller one which is capable of 10khz ?

Thanks a lot for taking these pictures!
    Very impressive, indeed.

How do the yamamoto f280a actually compare to the yuichi 290 in sound?
    Which driver are you using?

Thank you for your evaluation, believe this hellish labor-such a completed product.
I have several tad 4001, gauss 4000, radians, jbl 2441 - but the best gauss is, it just basses there.
But in the 2-way version, of course, Tad 4001
Yamamoto 280 much steeper allows you to build an unreal scene in comparison with Rey Audio RH-3.
