Polarity on the 2440 please Red is forward movement correct

Black Is ( forward polarity out of the snout ).

If the diaphragm has ever been changed you may want to double check the lead connections to the diaphragm making sure they are correct. On the diaphragm the + connection (red wire) is the one with ink mark either green or red. Green is for 8 ohm red diaphragms, red is for 16 ohm.
