JBL components availability....

Hello

Long time since my last visit...I have question.
I learned all about JBL and Harman...well almost.
For me all this is totally burlesque...my own end of the world!
The question.
A friend told me that traditional JBL components like 2226,2450,2380,2405...etc. are no longer available.
He also add that one should refer to Selenium and try to find nearest match!!!
Tell me, is it true?

2226, 2450 2380 are still available as new units in stock. 2405, 2404 2402 have all been discontinued.
