Initially good day.


I am Spanish and French since I have the dual nationality and I am new on the site, I like themusic and my hobby is to listen to what I like, thebest possible one (in my possibilities)
Therefore I am making enclosures “Small ONKEN”with a woofer LPG 414 8B, a house ARAI 480FLwith an engine Altec 906 8A and a filtering Altec1209-8A.
The question that I am posed and that I hope thatyou can inform me, is following this filter iscompatible with all the rest?

Welcome to the forum. Unfortunately I have no experience with any of the parts you are using so I can not offer any help. Hopefully another member here has some firsthand experience.

Just passing through, but assuming you mean the GPA 414-8B.....the 906 is a mid-range driver, so will work with the 480FL, but will need a super tweeter and the 1209 is a prosound version of the M19 consumer speaker's 1201 XO, so not compatible as is since it has a zobel for a 15" and seems to me something else is different, but can't remember at this late date.

I made a typing error, the engine for the houses isAltec 806 8A and not the 906.

OK, the 806 is rolled off somewhat too, but not nearly as much as 906, so with CD horn EQ is good out to 15+ kHz. Anyway, the Altec forum is back on-line, so hope to see you there!
