JBL Charge 3 - using BT and AUX simultaneously?

    Hello,

    I own both a JBL Charge 1 and a Charge 3.
On the Charge 1 I can use AUX and Bluetooth simultaneously without problems.
On the Charge 3 it is not possible (by default).
As soon as BT is being used, AUX gets deactivated.
Is there anyway to enable that feature again?
(Different firmware, replacing a chip etc.)
    I really need that.

P.S. Can the boot and connection tone be removed too? (Not that important, though.)

    Thanks for any help!

I googled it and looks like the Charge 1 and Charge 3 are some kind of small blutooth powered speaker -
no offense meant, but I'd venture to say not many folks here know anything about the Bluetooth or iPod gear.

This is not the JBL (or Haman) manufacturer support site - its more a site for fans of the classic JBL & Altec speakers and gear,
Lansing Heritage. Most of the folks here are discussing older wooden cabinet speakers and similar equipment from the
classic JBL home and professional sound era. Usually larger stuff for home audio systems.

Not sure how to enable features that weren't built into your device to begin with -
    probably a design limitation.

These are firmware functions that cannot be changed by the user.
