I have acquired a pair of speakers that appear to be JBL Aquarius. However they are slightly different in appearance from those that I've seen in online images. The apparatus is at the bottom of the speakers, rather that at the rear and there is no JBL "badge" on the speakers. Only JBL found on the volume control knob. Woofers are Dutch-made, but have not yet inspected all of the components of the speakers. Imitation or a prototype? They have been sitting in a garage for 8 years and are kind of worn, with some water damage at the base. They sound great when paired with my Marantz and SAE Mark Nine pre-amp equalizer!
