    Help Needed JBL/Lowther Project

    Dear all,

I have 1 pair JBL2225H, 1 pair Lowther EX3 and I want to built 3 way system with Nelson Pass L300 modify for MF and HF. I will built a woofer cabinet for 2225H according to 4671 cabinet and use N4671 cross LF schematic because I see this cabinet designed for 2225H. The MF will make separate cabinet for lowther EX3 and HF (not buy driver yet and may be JBL 2405/077). Anyone can give some idea on my project? May I use LF cross of L300 for 2225H and may be later upgrade to L136A/2235H(recone 2225H). I'm worry that problem with Lowther because it fullrange driver not true mid range like 2420,LE85....

What you are proposing is a unique beast that while it may work satisfactorily, will require a significant amount of design and engineering skill to pull off well. You can certainly kludge these parts together to make a functioning system, but to get the most from your parts, you will need the ability to take accurate measurements and know your way around filter design.
