    Early LE-10A and JBL 10 questions

    Here's a couple shots of the earliest LE-10A I've seen so far. I buy them when they're affordable, usually they're much less expensive than the D-110F's, and recone them for instrument use. Can anyone shed some light on this speaker?

    I'm in the market for reconing parts. I'm guessing the D-110F parts would be my choice?
    My next question to ask this crowd is, are these the earliest 10" JBL's? I've seen 50's 15's, 12's and 8's but was there a 10 in the 50's?

    The LE10A is shown in this brochure in the library estimated to be from 1960:



    And the LE10A as shown in this '62 brochure, also from the LH library. I didn't see any earlier than these:

    Thanks for that info. All the other LE10's I've seen have been black and the vent hole is covered with screen.
