    LE14H vs. 2235H

Has anyone of you guys had the chance to compare these woofers?

How do they differ sonically ?
Has the LE14H any advantage over the 2235 soundwise?
Iīve read that the 2235 is "geometrically challenged" and has some kind of disadvantage when compared to other woofers. But what exactly is meant by this statement?

The LE14h has about the same linear xmax as the 2235...
But what about the mechanical xmech? I couldnīt find this figure for the LE14h anywhere...

    Thanks a lot,
    Olaf

I have owned them both. I think the 2235H has a bit better control, feed it plenty of power i fed mine with crown monoblocks Biamped 800+ watts no stress whatsoever

I believe the magnet structure, voice coil, and spider are very similar (if not identical) in these 2 woofers. The smaller cone area and different cone mass makes the LE14H work well in a smaller box (approximately 3.5 vs 5 cubic feet).

The 2235 is the best woofer JBL build (not talking about Everest woofers).

Very complex and very high performances.

    I would not hesitate!
