I am looking to buy one of these altec amps to power a subwoofer i have, but i was wondering if there is a way to run it in 8 ohm mode, i know it has jumpers on it but not having physical access to it i dont know exactly how i can set them. Would it be a good thing to purchase, and if so how much should i look to spend on it? It is going to be used to power the lfe on my 5.1 system. I need to come to a consensus in the next day or two, otherwise i cant buy it
