Rob's Compact Monitor thread could be a good choice. The Econowave was a nice project for me also. I plan on getting it back up and running when I get a pair of 2206's one day.

I have read that tread before and theres a lot of good and useful information in there including plots and measurements

Flodstroem, in a capital near you I have a pair with LE1400H (1400Nd cones in LE14H-3 baskets with 2227 magnets) with M2 horns & 476Nd in a 2-way. Pretty close to what you are talking about. Works just fine.

I also have 3 pairs of 2206 & VTX/2450SL's. Also a good combination. I have an extra pair of VTX's you can borrow if you want.

Thanks Rob. Is the VTXs just the bare horns?
I have found them in the US for, I think it was $45 each
But maybe I should borrow a pair from you just for a test? But for the moment there is no time over for that

I need to build the cabinets before thinking of horn driver etc. #1 will be to buy the MDFs
