    Going to load up on the sanding primer to fill scratches and the surface differences from removing the folical glue and the woofer goop. I had good luck removing the badges by putting the heat gun on the putty knife letting it transfer the heat, thereby melting the glue.

    I'm assuming you're going to sand out the front veneered edge lips from the primer since you didn't mask them off?

    You're lookin at masking tape on the top edge with overspray giving it the appearance of a painted edge.

    FWIW - I sold my 4311b's last year and 4312's this month. (Coincidentally for the same price).

    UNSCIENTIFIC OBSERVATIONS

    Having done no work to them, the 12's seemed dull & lifeless while the 11b's were quite a bit more dynamic and forward.

    yes, both were attached to same amp (but different times) and same neutral settings.
