Not all the 2213Nd varieties are differential drive - the ones in my 4312Ds aren't - it might have been 2213Nd-3 or something like that. It's a challenge to find anything on some of the newer monitors.

It was something I found on Ebay a few years back out of a JDM speaker.
Myself, I have been waiting for the LSR28P/6328P to drop in price. It hasn't. That to me looks like the next "giant step" up from the LSR 305 that we all love so much (no doubt helped by the crazy low price of entry).
Any LSR6328 owners here ? Are they as good as the price would lead one to believe? And how about a knock-down 3-day desktop shootout between this new 7 series, the 305 below and the 6323 above ? That would be some fun...

I am interested in these, they should be good for my apartment. My room is 11 x 11 and i need to place them against the rear wall.
What would be the recommended subwoofer for these?
At the moment I have Revel Gems (original) with 2 subwoofers, the 708P's seem to go lower than the Gems' but I think i will still need a subwoofer or 2
The Gems are good but because i dont have freedom over placement I think they are compromised.
I think the LSR708P's will be a better option as placement will be less critical.

Michael

252G Low Frequency Transducer
The neodymium 12" woofer is based on JBL patented Differential Drive®technology. With the neodymium structure and dual drive coils, power com-pression is kept to a minimum to reduce spectral shift as power level increase. An added third coil between the drive coils acts as a dynamic brake to limitexcess excursion and reduce audible distortion at the highest levels. The cone ismade of a graphite polypropylene composite forming a rigid piston supportedby a soft butyl rubber surround.
This one has an integrated dynamic compressor...
