    LE111a equivalent replacement speaker

    Hi there,

I have a pair of JBL L110s that don't have the original 10" woofers. I've been looking for a couple of years for replacements with no luck. A JBL repairer recommended I buy a pair of E110s with low frequency cones. Does this sound like a good idea?

    cheers,

    Adam

If your repair guy is talking about putting a le10H cone kit into a E110 basket, then that's good .
    - You'll get a le10H out of that combo and that will be a decent enough approximation of the le111a .

If he's talking about putting some generic after-market cone kit into the E110 basket, then I'd stear clear.
