To me those things are ugly and distract from the stated purpose. Meant to impress the neighbors, not so much to enhance movie watching.

Some of those light lines are a bit odd and all of them are quite opulent. I'm pretty sure there is a demand for this amongst the affluent.

I can't link a pic but I do like #8 and #12 from the top in the pdf.
