Also Huntley Audio shows a pair of 250Ti, under restoration I think, on their home page. He makes grill frames for other models and also supplies cloth, he might be able to reproduce these (same grill minus the pegs).

Hi,
Steve Barnes here from HuntleyAudio.com.
I'd like to make L250 / 250TI reproduction grilles. My biggest challenge is finding several hundred of the mounting pegs.
I'm looking for any sourcing ideas or leads.
Thanks in advance,
SB

Can someone post pictures of the back of an L250 grille and mounting points of the grille and speaker?
I have the 250TI, and I'm trying to understand the differences between the two.
Thank you
SB
I thought the L250 didn't use any pins and simply hung on the mid-bass-driver lips, so no holes in the baffle for pins. The 250ti I thought was the only one that used pins. I only have the 250ti so can't really help.

". . . as you have no doubt noticed, no one told the 4345 that it can't work correctly so it does anyway."—Greg Timbers
Yep, if it's a L250, no pegs. As BMW noted, just a little piece of velcro on the top edge of the upper mid and woofer frame (the two squircle drivers) and the cross pieces of the frame - the frame just rests on the drivers. I don't know if the velcro was a factory item or if they intended the frame to just hang there by gravity alone, but if you have 250Ti grills, then making the L250 would be a snap.
Here are the velcro attachment points. As you can see, some of the plastic bumpers have gone away.
Those rubber bumper pads on the grill frame are important and should be replaced. They keep the frame spaced at the correct distance from the baffle. I don't know if the 250ti has those or not, it really shouldn't need them.
Mine has no rubber bumper pads. Can see they've been there.
How thick are they?
