    4345 diy

I might just take the leap and get the cabs built by a local cabinet maker.....

But I do have a couple of questions that need to be solved...

Is the cabinet stock 1 1/4" inch particle board all around and a 1" inch plywood baffle...

All of the original "later" pairs of JBL's I've owned were like this...... Including an original pair of 4355's.

Ricks blueprints state 1" inch stock particle board......

    Thanks!!!
    Chris.

    Hi Chris,
1" all around 3/4 for the baffle on particul but it's better with plywood. 4355 are the same.
If you need components, I know someone in Montreal...
    Cheers!

As I recall the baffle in my factory 4345's was not particle board.

    Re..

Yes I'm aware that the baffle is plywood.....I could swear that when I measured my 4333b's they were 1 1/4 inch stock all around and

a 1 inch plywood baffle....The Idea is to pick up a pair of original 4344's and make 45's out of them....I need all original parts..

I'm not doing anything uber fancy...Just want a pair of 4345's at the end of the day....
