    Speaker question

    Will this speaker

    work for front horn loaded cabinets?

    The cabinets are BFI Bullfrog and are similar to some of the Altec and JBL front horn loaded cabinets only these have a slot port at the bottom firing out the front.

    I think they would probably work. I don't really know the product,so far as for sound not too sure. What are you using these for? If they are for HT use then I would consider holding out for some JBL woofers even if they are used. I have 2220a's that are used for HT use and they are very good. They can be purchased fairly reasonably priced. Like I said,depends on what you're doing with them

    These will be used for PA work.

    They will only need to reproduce from 120-1.6KHz.

    This depends on the condition of the drivers in the cabinets.

    Have to remove the speakers from where they are mounted and test them.

    If the original drivers are good I won't bother replacing them.
