    Hi lowhog

My take on what you have. I don't think the cabinets are Altec. Altec did have a corner speaker (Altec 606) but looks much different. To me they look similar to the EV Aristocrat. These may be a custom or home built. Maybe one is factory and the other built to match.

I think the components date to the 1960's but I can't really narrow down production years. In my opinion, the value is in the components and you could
probably get an idea of their value on ebay. Bummer that the woofers aren't a match as that will likely bring the value down a little.

    Best regards

Size: 28.2 KBThanks for your response. For sure the cabinets were built by the same maker. My guess custom because they were professionally made and built like tanks. Maybe someone else will chime in here. The cabinet with the 803b has this adjustment switch on it.

It looks a lot like a Heathkit SS-1B cabinet. The dimensions might be different but from the same family? The Heathkit is 29"H x 23"W X 17.5"D

Size: 68.1 KBThumbs up on the Heathkit. The speakers came with this stereo system. The plans for the entertainment table are here somewhere.
