Ferrit equivalent to 2410 or 2420

HI, iam just researching today, toying with ideas for a bedroom cabinet, I like a 17x37x12 3114a design,
I read a post as well as watched a video using the 2305 with the 60° dispersion, I liked the sound but it seems distant to me in comparison to the 2105. I was thinking a 2311 maybe neat to try with 90 and 45° dispersion.
If using the 2311 horn id like to keep this cab ferrit drivers could anyone tell me what equivalent I can use to the 2410.
The 2425h is crossed over higher I think then the 2410, an without mods to the 3114a id like to keep the numbers as close to original. The 2426h I believe goes lower. Not sure for sure.
    Thank you

I know the 2425/6 would need the smaller 2305 unless I find a adapter, the 2311/24×× just plays higher so im in thought it may not be received as a suitable bedroom system ( would a need power to wake these up )

    2" horn = biamping?
The sansui qrx 8/9001 will be doing the work here. 100-120wpc. 03 distortion

Don´t know if this helps you, but just a short impuls:

You can purchase original 2420 diaphragms and swop them into 2425 or 2426 if I´m not wrong.
This way you would get rid of the less pleasing titan diaphragms and your driver should behave very very similar to the alnico 2420.

I know this works for the 2" compression-drivers, so please can someone else verify this for the mentioned drivers?

D8R2421 and D16R2421's are still available from JBL, for how long unknown. D--R2420's are NLA.

Thank you barry & my friend in Germany. Id like to use the 2420 or 2421. The 2410 sounds to forward for a bedroom quarter. Id like to use them in a larger room. So they will not be incorporated into this system

The 2311 has a two-inch threat. All the drivers you mention have 1 inch throats.

    So id need the adapter,
I'm not interested in the 1217
    2311+2327+ 2410/20 maybe to long
    2311+2440/41 Im guessing,

    Sorry about the confusion.

The JBL 2307 at 7.3/4" is a full inch shorter than a 2311+2327.

Could I use the 3115 with the 3114a for the 2311/2440 just on the hf. Tie them Toghter on the Input terminal.
