My first DSP with MacOs software

    Hello everybody,

after using analog equipment for my whole life I bought my first DSP to replace my Ashly XR1000 crossover. This one costs only € 300.00 ($ 330.00) and is made in Germany. And the best: it comes with software for MacOs ! I spend the whole evening sitting in my chair, listening to music and controlling the DSP with my Macbook. Filters can be adjusted by simply moving the icon with the cusor in every direction (gain and frequency) and you can listen in real time to the changes. There are windows for volume settings, crossover frequencies and filter types and output filter settings.I was surprised of the very good sound quality.

    The DSP-26 specs:
    2 inputs, 6 outputs
2 way stereo or 3-way stereo crossover, 6-way mono
crossover types Bessel, Butterworth, Linkwitz, 6-24dB
for each output 10 filters, each selectable: all pass, hi pass, lo pass, band pass, bell, notch, hi shelf, lo shelf
delay and limiter in each input or output

Made by dsp specialists AllDSP in Germany.
I've just pulled the trigger on the same unit as GT uses(used?)the PLP226 minus the 'Signature' audiophile component upgrade.

That looks nice. There are a lot of audio DSPs out there (as there should be) but they can be hard to find. It looks like this one is discontinued. DAS Audio?

The nature of 2in 6 out tends to mean those DSP26 numbers crop up often in various manufacturer model numbers. The DAS is a different unit.
The IMG Stageline and Monacore '26LAN models are the AllDSP OEM PLP Series processors. The DSP-26 is their entry level processor.

Thanks. I was hoping for a North American supplier. Currently I have my eyes on an Ashly Protea 3.6SP but those software screen shots look great on the DSP-26.

I can sell you the DSP-26 and send it to North America because I am also a Monacor dealer.

Does anyone know what the ADC and DAC on this DSP are? Curious if it uses better parts than the miniDSP 2x8/4x10HD/8x8/10x10HD.

I appreciate the offer but I think shipping, exchange and brokerage would kill it.
