    LE14A in 4508 enclosure

    Hi,

May I know if I could install LE14As into the 4508. I have 2225Js now installed, but could not get enough low frequency extension from them. I liked the LE14As in my L222 previously and find them to have a good balance of punch and extension. I was thinking of making some adaptors to adapt the 14" woofers into the 4508 enclosure.

    Will this work?

    Thanks.

You'd probably want to tune the box a bit lower (low 30's)
and the box seems to be a little big, but it would work OK
    (peaky group delay near Fb),

but usable response (-10dB) into the mid 20's,
avoiding signals below that (hi-pass if necessary).

... all assuming the units meet the JBL published T/S specs :O
