    Altec 605A

    Hi Guys
    Brand New here.

I just got a set of Altec 605A missing one crossover N1600C. So need one.

Anyway I have never tried these speakers or any Altec before but plan to build the 612 cabs for them. I am running a McIntosh C20, MC240, Garrard 401/SME 3009 & Tannoy Golds. What are these speakers like, think I will like better than the Tannoy? Should I get crossovers made or find another N1600C? I can get a set of N1600D would these work?

    Cheers
    Tony

Tex, I used to have a cut sheet that specified the differences between the two crossovers, but I've been unable to find it. I'll keep looking. Surely somebody here has the same information and can answer your question.

    Hi
Thanks I ended up buying a set of N1600D crossovers. So they should be fine but have to do some research.

    Cheers, Tony Tex
