    Model 14 Woofer

I have a pair of Model 14s where the flexible edge material that surrounds the woofer has deteriorated. I am looking for a pair or replacement woofers. I would appreciate any help on what replacements are available.
I saw the posting on the iconic speakers but noticed that they are not an exact replacement. Does any one know of some other woofer that can be used ? I tried to email the new Altec Lansing Pro speaker division and they have not responded at all.

If the rest of the cone/spider/voice coil assembly is good, maybe they could be refoamed.

I've used foams from Rick Cobb in Florida.

    Hi David,

Thanks for the advice. Yes my voice coil and cone are in excellent condition. I have searched the web and found a number of other suppliers of speaker foam kits. I will certainly try this route before looking for a replacement woofer.
