Please stop the senseless discussion MDF vs Plywood.
Trying to build a clone requires using the same material as the original. Thats it. No more to say in this context.

A new thread about the ups and downs of the two different materials would make sense, but no reason to pollute this one.

Very nice jobb Kalle. Getting there.

I will get back in seeing if I can use your wonderful CNC friends for the next evolution of the HT.

Why not paint them Orange, it's the new Black :-)

    Kind regards

Johanwholst: They will be white 0500-n. It`s modern they say

Robert: I think they could help with that after summer. They have had a lot of work this season. I don`t think orange would do it for my wife Lets not dance with the devil

Can anyone tell me what is the thread of the D2-driver?

Next week I get them from paint.

The thread is 1/4-20. JBL uses studs as shown here. I used Bolts when mounting mine.

I can't wait to see yours in white, I was also kicking around this color for mine.

    Thanks,
    Scott

MDF if fine if you don't play loud.

Kalle is a decibel junkie :-)

Nice build Kalle! But it should have been plywood.

I was at the painter today and picking up other less important stuff such as doors and other things for the home. Took a sneak peek att the M2`s. He was not happy with the result so he wanted to do them one more time. Still possible to get them black wish should be better (projektor) but less WAFish.

    Happy Midsummer!

Beautiful color but not in my teste, walnut is my color, hehe But I had to admit yours looks really beautiful. Should be a nice contrast with
    WG and woofer installed

Actually they will be black. I changed my mind. It will suit my combined music/HT better. Hopefully I get them tomorrow

Time goes slowly here! Now i have all the bolts, nuts and other things. 1/4" UNC is not the easiest to get in Sweden. All ready exept the filters wich will be ready monday I hope. And then getting my crowns to work with my network. Any ideas where to get the JBL-stamp for the WG if I don`t want to pay 48usd/each?

The paint has to be redone for perfect result. Some misunderstandings. You see round the woofer and the ports. ( I dont know why tinypic rotate the picture)

Kalle, for the label ask to the italian guy that makes replica of JBL foilcal (ebay), give him the sample picture and size, he will make a pring for small amount of money, quality is good enough, and you have a flat surface,so no issue.

Thanks for the tips of JBL-mark

One ready for takeoff. Just one more and then getting it in place and setup amp and connection.

Just to be sure I ask about polarity of the filters. I`we added positive and negative to the schematic. Correct? Symbol for ground indicates that the lower line is negative!?
