    L-PAD for 2440

Hello, question regarding the 2440, if I was to use an L-pad for the 2440, would i use a 8 or 16 ohm and can it it be connected in line, thanks

One could use either ( depending if you prefer to add a conjugate resistor across the driver leads to drop the overall resistance closer to 8 ohms // or // whether you prefer to add a series resistor to raise the circuit resistance up & closer to 16 ohms ) .

I'd suggest listening to both approaches since the inline resistor approach ( 16ohm L-Pad ) gives slightly less circuit damping and *might* offer a more lively sound .
