Don't know where you're coming from friend, but "political" speak is clearly forbidden in the audio forums

We might just do that, or I may "join" "AK"
Either way, thank you for your consideration

TW, I would guess 95% of the members here are members of AK.......We are products of the 70s, we love the one we're with.

Work the same as a youtube view counter?

Maybe what I am asking is how does the internet work!

I ask as the number fluctuates greatly from day to day and time to time

For example, right now, up to 114 from the 79 indicated when I made my post on 4/2/2016:
    Currently Active Users

There are currently 122 users online. 8 members and 114 guests

Yeah, I deleted the post after thinking about it, I am aware of analytics, embedded tools and google's ability to index sites etc.............but only possess a rudimentary understanding

Still, I thought it took sometime for this sort of data to be compiled and that it's not always 100% accurate or reliable

You know, everything works in two directions, a little disconcerting when you think about it (the big picture)

That's why I laugh at the term "secure connection" or whatever.............and my favorite one of all "improve the strength of your password(s)"
